ABOUT

Who We Are
Our Background

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Arlington Piano Academy is comprised of professional teachers and proficient musicians. We like to create a positive atmosphere in our studio by making the learning process enjoyable. We are purposeful, encouraging, friendly and compassionate.

We believe all students deserve the best foundation from the start of their learning journey. Proper technique, musicianship, artistry, music theory, ear training, improvisation, composition, and music history are part of that. We want to give the students the tools so they can become independent learners and achieve their musical goals.

We teach all levels of students ages 4 and up. We can teach several kinds of repertoire, from classical to popular and jazz.

We encourage the students to participate and attend all the lessons, recitals, master classes and performance classes. Students must practice at least five (5) days a week according to their level. Memorization of the pieces for performances and exams such as MTNA programs, the Royal Conservatory or Trinity College London is encouraged.
